The Kite Festival

Every April the Dixie power company has a kite festival at the Sun River golf course. It is so much fun, and best part- Its free!!! That's great for cheapos like us!! We went to Wal-mart and got two kites ( they were $1.00 each, once again perfect for us, the cheapos!!)

There were at least 100 or more kites in the sky!! It was so awsome!

We had the Winnie The Pooh kite, we also had a Mickey Mouse kite. We had it going really high a few times

Other times we could hardley get the thing a few feet, but it was still fun to watch Abby get so excited when her kite flew.

The cool thing was that when the kids got bored with the kites, there was a games area for the lil kids. Do you wanna know the best part? If you said free, you are correct!!! Abby did a few of the games and won some prizes.

Whats a family outing without some sort of heavy duty super awsome army truck? Well they had one of those there too!! Of course I went straight to it, like a moth to the light!! What can I say? It was cool looking!!

We left the festival but the party didn't stop there!! We came home and went to the park by our house and played with the soccer ball and tried the kite flying thing again. Then we got some fudge bar things from the ice cream man. It was a super fun day.

Kenzie also had a fun time, even though see was in the stroller the whole time, she is just so happy. She had fun watching her sis play.
